These windows have protected generations of Swiss bees from harsh winters and allowed generations of beekeepers to unobtrusively observe their hives. Each window is etched with the ghostly trace of a frame from a working honey bee hive, producing a three dimensional fragile and eerie still-life. Handcraft and industrialisation caress each other, but the colony will not survive the winter.
